We believe that removable media storage should be written such that data can be read or retrieved by systems not running our software. Data is an organization's more valuable asset, and, accordingly, we make it easily recoverable from storage.

Replicator

Replicator is a software tool that combines the best features of typical replication (mirroring) and traditional tape backup (archiving). It's a simple solution — copying and maintaining data from one location to another — but with many practical applications. Whether it is used for data protection and recovery, data testing purposes, migrating data to several locations or centralizing data to one location, everStor's Replicator is a solution that is simple enough for every employee in your company to use.

Hiarc HSM

everStor's Hierarchical Storage Management is the fully automated software tool solution to data management. It intelligently separates frequently used files from lower priority ones to maximize computer performance while providing what appears to be an infinite amount of storage space. HSM is the ideal solution for both busy network administrators and users who demand evermore disk space.

jb driver

everStor's jb driver is a low-cost, easy-to-use handler for tape and optical disk SCSI compliant jukebox and library devices. This simple utility allows users to control all modes of operation and read all status functions of any robotic handler using three simple commands.

Platforms and Clients

Hiarc HSM runs on Sun Solaris (SPARC and Intel); Replicator runs on Sun Solaris, Linux, and Mac OS X; and jb driver runs on Sun Solaris and Linux. Replicator supports most clients, including Windows NT/2000/XP, Windows 95/98/Me, AIX, HP-UX, Linux, Mac OS X (Mac OS 9 and prior are supported through free third party utilities) and Solaris. Hiarc HSM supports both UFS and NFS file systems.

About everStor

everStor became incorporated in 1992 after six years of technological development through a $5 million research program at Purdue University. The company's initial product was HIARC Hierarchical Storage Management, one of the first and best data management tools. It has since added its jb driver, a user-friendly handler for tape and optical media in jukeboxes and library devices, and Replicator, the ultimate data replicating and archiving tool. These products now form the foundation of the company’s success.
